Automatically Edit Your Real Estate Videos

Iveo is the real estate video solution for real estate agents, media companies and photographers. Iveo’s easy to use iOS and Android app allow you to record footage with your smartphone’s camera. Redesign of the web tool and app

When I started my intern at Iveo, the first thing what had to be done was the redesign of the web tool. I looked into user data and conducted interviews with users in order to gain a better understanding of their goals. Then I translated their wishes to designs. After numerous prototype testing and design iterations we started implementing the designs into the web tool, where I focussed mainly on the front-end part of the web tool. Later in my time at Iveo I also worked on the back-end of Iveo's products.

Implementing artificial intelligence

After my graduation project, where I researched possibilities of using artificial intelligence to improve the user experience of Iveo’s products, I started working at Iveo as a developer. One of my responsibilities was to implement artificial intelligence into the products. Now Iveo uses video recognition to see what was filmed, for example, a kitchen for the first 7 seconds, followed by a living room for the next 3 seconds. This allows not only making a video with all the footages, but also making teaser videos containing specific parts of the house. Iveo also use artificial intelligence to decide what actions should be taken, for example, trim the first few seconds of footage for a better flow between shots.
